Horace Cox

Dr. Cox is from the Ministry of Health, Guyana and has eight years of progressive public health, infectious diseases and research experience at district, regional and national levels with a focus in recent years on control and elimination activities for different communicable illnesses, more particularly vector borne diseases.

Charmaine Blades

Charmaine Blades is an Environmental Health professional with over 21 years’ experience. She currently performs duties of a Disease Surveillance Officer at the Surveillance Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Barbados and is responsible for the collection, collation, and analysis of Surveillance data. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus and also a three-time recipient of an Academic award offered by the Arnot Cato Foundation. She also has received several certificates from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) after successful completion of courses in the areas of Surveillance and Epidemiology. She has a passion for Public Health and will continue to increase her skills and knowledge in this area to keep up to date with current trends. In her spare time, she practice French with different language partners across the globe and she love to play scrabble.
