What is CariVecNet?

CariVecNet is a consortium-based network that was conceptualized to address the growing need for a unified response to vector-borne emerging diseases in the Caribbean. Our focus is on surveillance, diagnosis, research, and control of these diseases.

What led to the formation of CariVecNet?

CariVecNet was formed following two workshops funded by the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases. These workshops identified the urgent need for a regional network to counter vector-borne diseases in the Caribbean.
